Egg Freezing: Preventative Care and Empowerment
A huge misconception in the world of fertility is that egg freezing is an elective procedure and should, therefore, be treated like one. This is absolutely untrue. Advanced technologies allow women to freeze their eggs before their ovarian reserve starts to diminish. This opens the possibility of having biological children at some point down the line. This week's This Is Infertility podcast interviews 2 women who did exactly that. The podcast also features Dr. Alan Copperman who describes the benefits of fertility preservation and how it empowers women to take control of their health.
