Children conceived from frozen embryos at increased risks for certain cancers

A recent study found that children born from frozen embryos used during in vitro fertilization have a slightly higher risk for certain types of cancer. The study, however, warrants further investigation. Because the study only looks at one association, “it is not clear whether the finding is related to the procedure itself or the patients who needed the procedure,” Dr. Alan Copperman explained.
