Can a ‘fertility diet’ really help you conceive? In some cases, yes
Two researchers at Harvard School of Public Health have developed a ‘pro-fertility diet’ that they claim can boost women’s chances of conceiving. Their study, which included the diets of over 18,000 women, may be helpful to improve fertility for women with ovulatory disorders, but some physicians want to keep expectations in check and caution fertility patients. Dr. Alan Coppermanagrees that “these dietary modifications can increase the likelihood of spontaneous ovulation” in patients with PCOS but is quick to caution that the diet may not be for everyone. “Even in the world of big data, it doesn’t mean that we can draw specific and personalized conclusions.”
