Westchester on Social: Staying Connected, Sharing about Fertility
RMA of New York — Westchester has been busy on social media. Don’t worry if you missed some posts! A few of our greatest hits are below. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with our fertility doctors in Westchester: Reproductive Endocrinologists Jeffrey Klein, MD, Rachel Schwartz Gerber, MD, and Matthew Lederman, MD.
Meet our cutest Instagram star! — This precious little visitor stopped by the Westchester fertility clinic with his mom, a former patient of Dr. Gerber, a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist treating patients at our White Plains, Mount Kisco, and Poughkeepsie clinics. It’s amazing how fast babies grow! From Port Chester, Fishkill, Greenburgh, New Rochelle, and Pleasant Valley to Kingston, and Saugerties, Dr. Gerber and the RMANY team are helping patients every day with egg freezing, IVF, egg donation, male fertility, and fertility testing.
During National Infertility Awareness Week in April, Dr. Lederman shared his perspectives about the fertility journey on Instagram. RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association raises awareness about infertility every April with educational programming and community activities. Treating patients from Eastchester and Mount Pleasant to Rhinebeck, NY, Dr. Lederman provides care at all three of our Westchester fertility clinics. These clinics are conveniently located to patients in the seven-county Hudson Valley Region surrounding NYC, including Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Columbia, Rockland, Orange, and Ulster counties. Our full-service IVF center is in Mount Kisco.
Dr. Gerber, Fertility Physician at RMA of New York — Westchester, pictured at far left, glammed it up for a good cause with other members of the RMANY team at the March non-profit Stardust annual gala! Thank you to the event’s outstanding organizer, the Stardust Jewish Fertility Foundation, for reminding us of what’s most important: community.
For one of RMA of New York’s popular Fertility Fact Fridays, Dr. Matthew Lederman discussed a common misconception: that after a cancer diagnosis, a patient won’t be able to get pregnant. While thankfully, this isn’t necessarily true, the answer — and process — is nuanced. Fertility preservation technologies, such as oncofertility, offered at RMA of New York — Westchester’s clinics and full-service IVF center and lab, provide options for cancer patients’ future family-building.
