RMA of New York is proud to be recognized once again as a Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality by the Human Rights Campaign 2017 Healthcare Equality Index

We are delighted to have been awarded the status of Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation for the fourth consecutive year. The result is particularly encouraging, as the 2017 index entailed far more rigorous criteria than previous years. In fact, RMA of New York is one of only 303 facilities nationally to have been recognized as a Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality.

The HRC is the educational arm of the country’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization. Its annual Healthcare Equality Index rates providers based on their LGBTQ inclusive approach, policies and practices, including those relating to patient-centred care, patient services and support, employee benefits and policies, and community engagement.

RMA of New York’s inclusion in the 2017 Healthcare Equality Index as a Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality recognizes the efforts of all of those working at our clinics to provide cutting edge healthcare in an inclusive environment. We work tirelessly to ensure that our services are accessible to all, including through delivering training, education and community engagement activities.

Our goal is to support all patients to succeed in their dream of building a family. We will continue to do this in the compassionate, inclusive way that has proven so successful thus far, and look forward to many more years of providing outstanding reproductive assistance services to those identifying as LGBTQ and to their families.
